Job Description:
This Systems Engineering position manages the requirements, design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on airborne ISR platforms.
Essential Functions:
Manage technical execution of systems design teams throughout the systems development lifecycle Perform project and resource planning, drive technical strategy across programs Develop system/subsystem level requirements Provide technical oversight and guidance on development of program deliverables Perform requirement traceability methods and purpose Drive team growth through proper allocation of work challenges Drive implementation of Agile and MBSE best practices Review and evaluate system design details and traceability to system requirements Understand test, integration, verification, and validation planning Understand FAA and Military airworthiness requirements Drive product innovation Perform other duties as assigned Job Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum (12) twelve years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of (10) ten years of prior relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience Position requires an active DoD Secret Security Clearance along with the ability to maintain the stated clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship. Extensive project management experience and proven success driving teams to efficient execution Experience with MBSE tools such as Magic Draw, Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Enterprise Architecture Aircraft ISR or COMMS experience Extensive knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle Expert proficiency with MS tools suite including MS Project Experience writing subsystem specifications based on system level requirements Excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills Must have the ability and willingness to travel as needed Preferred Additional Skills:
Design and integration of aircraft subsystems Experience with SysML and MBSE Experience with Experience with Confluence and JIRA Experience with SAFe Experience with project planning and resource estimation
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
