We have several entry points into becoming an Agency Owner with Farmers Insurance.

Retail Agency Similar to a Franchise you start with a branded office location and staff - $50k Liquidity Required - Extensive training and support through the process - Aggressive bonus -plan based on sales performance. Potential for commission of 50% and up!
Agency Acquisition Purchase an up and running Farmers Insurance agency with a client base already in place - Previous business leadership is required - Proven track record of success - Start-up capital varies based on purchase price of agency

Desired Skills and Experience
We are always on the lookout for individuals who are looking to take control of their future and if you're interested we would love to speak with you. There are a couple things we need from you though.
College degree preferred, but not required.
Sales & customer service & management experience
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Desire to be active in community
No bankruptcies within the last 12 months
Not more than $1000 in collections
Favorable criminal record with no felonies
Be willing to work towards getting your Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance licenses

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
