Engineer - Field 4

The position provides technical and professional company representation at customer locations. The position is with a multi-person field team responsible for installations, checkout, operation, on-the-job cross training, and/or maintenance of complex ground and airborne mission systems. The position strives to guarantee customer satisfaction through ethical and qualitative on the job performance with the primary goal to effectively support the tasking and minimize mission system downtime. Assignments vary in scope from flight test programs, demonstrations, and worldwide mission support to include OCONUS deployment approximately 10% of the time.
Install, perform checks, operate, repair and maintain assigned equipment at customer installation(s).
Conduct mechanical and electronic preventive maintenance to predict problems and correct anomalies prior to catastrophic downtime.
Develop, construct, implement or modify a test plan to isolate anomalies to keep the equipment downtime to a minimum.
Interpret and follow complex sketches, schematics, drawings, charts, graphs, blue prints, block and wiring diagrams of assigned equipment.
Maintain logs, charts and graphs for analysis, evaluation and trend detection.
Prepare engineering documentation and assist in developing more complex engineering documentation.
Modify assigned equipment with authorized upgrades, and perform temporary modifications to extend continued operation until maintenance can be performed.
Participate in field installations, upgrades, demonstrations and deployments.
Maintain close and professional liaison with customer personnel to provide information, advice and services as required.
Act as a liaison with the customer through effective and professional written and or verbal communication to positively represent the company.
Position responsibilities will be performed at a classified site, not in Greenville, Texas.
Bachelor degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred experience as field service representative or equivalent experience in IMINT and/or SIGINT mission system maintenance.
Must possess or be able to obtain a Class III Flight Physical.
A&P License is highly desired.
Working knowledge and experience with FAA Quality requirements.
U.S. Military service is highly desired.
Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and have color vision to identify cables and wires.
Must have excellent communication skills in support of daily Customer interface and program mission system training requirements.
Position responsibilities will be performed at a classified site, not in Greenville, Texas.
Position requires an active DOD Top Secret (TS/SCI) Security Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain all needed additional compartmental security clearances which requires U.S. Citizenship.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
